Deep Down is Bendigo writer Colin King's 3rd novel in his Detective Sergeant Rory James series. Accompanied by archaeologist Tahlia Lock, James' investigation of bones uncovered in a gemstone fossicking site near the Grampians, takes them on a hunt for a truth buried far beneath the civilized world -- a truth that, when dug up, will undo lives...

Colin King is a Bendigo writer, who grew up in Horsham and worked as a major-projects consultant for the Victorian State Government before retiring to write.
Along the way, he has played guitar in rock bands, run marathons, led trekking parties and hand built a weekender in the Grampian foothills.
