Are you keen to know more about how Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) transforms the existing neighbourhood over time? Join the drop-in session and speak with the SRL team to find out more!

Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) will transform our public transport system and help to reshape Melbourne over time into a city of centres. As part of this work, SRLA is currently planning how it will deliver more jobs, affordable and abundant housing, and local services in areas around the new underground stations, including in Cheltenham.

SRLA has developed a vision for Cheltenham that builds on the priorities and feedback gathered during previous engagement. This vision identifies areas of opportunity, preliminary ideas and draft precinct plans which connect the place today to what it can look like in the future. The areas of opportunity, and ideas set out in the draft vision and precinct plan, are the possible pathways that will guide how SRL transforms the existing neighbourhood over time.

Via this engagement session, the community is being asked to indicate which are the most important aspects, or priorities, to focus on, and how we need to refine the future vision for Cheltenham.
