William Goldman adapted his 1973 comedy/adventure novel into a classic for screen. With plot lines of love and revenge, a swashbuckling farmhand named Westley, 'rodents of unusual size' and a sword fight like no other, this film has become a favourite with movie buffs for years.
Directed and co-produced by Rob Reiner. Starring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon, Wallace Shawn, André the Giant, and Christopher Guest.
