Learn about tiny native microbats living and feeding in our local neighbourhood!
Join us for a fascinating session which reveals the secret lives of these remarkable Indigenous species – which are not so spooky after all! Learn how microbats play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling insect populations, why they are important to our local environment, and how we can successfully coexist alongside them.
This engaging presentation will also explore simple, practical ways you can help support microbat populations in our community—from creating wildlife-friendly gardens to protecting their habitat.
Whether you're a nature enthusiast, local resident, or simply curious about the wildlife around you, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and discover how small actions can make a big difference.
PLUS – kids can join us from 4-5pm for drop in Halloween craft! Includes make-your-own bat mask and colouring in.
