Saturday 19 September 2026 at 12:30 PM
Cheltenham Library
Event Description
Step into the world of cosplay with confidence – just in time for King Con 2026! Cosplay is about building costumes and accessorising to represent your favourite characters from comics, anime, movies, TV, video games and more.
Whether you’ve never picked up a needle or you’ve only admired costumes from afar, this panel-based discussion will show you just how fun and welcoming cosplay can be. Our panel of experienced cosplayers will take turns sharing tips, tricks, and behind‑the‑scenes stories to help you learn how to build your own cosplays from scratch!
What our panellists will cover:
choosing a character
crafting on a budget
tips for thrifting
wig and make up know-how
costumes, props, accessorising and more.
Come for the knowledge, bring all your questions and you’ll leave with the inspiration and knowledge to start your next cosplay adventure. No Cosplay experience needed!
