National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) 2026 

Join us at Aspendale Gardens Community Service for National Simultaneous Storytime 2026!

This year’s story is Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton.

Follow Luna Roo, a rookie captain, as she faces a big match full of challenges. With nerves rising and a tough team ahead, Luna must find the confidence to trust herself and work with her teammates.

This fun and inspiring story celebrates courage, teamwork, and giving things a go.

After the reading, children can enjoy a simple craft activity.
