Born in India and migrated to Australia at the young age of 21, his family background was one of extreme hardship and financial difficulties. He wrote "The Indian Mate" volumes 1 and 2, chronicling his migration journey and the struggles of his forebears who shaped him, to motivate the underdogs and dark horses of the world.
