Event Description
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is an annual event where over 2.3 million Australians read the same book together!
Hosted by the Australian Library Information Association (ALIA), NSS promotes literacy, encourages a love of reading, and highlights the importance of storytime.
Join us for the 24th NSS event at the Aspendale Gardens Community Service featuring The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell - a heartwarming story about cats and humans, immigration and identity, and finding home. Some cats live in houses, but Tinka lives everywhere!
Storytime will be followed by a simple craft activity.
No bookings required.
