Bella Brown a beautifully quirky young women has a paralysing fear of flora and fauna. When forced to deal with her neglected garden by her landlord Bella meets her next-door neighbour, Alfie Stephenson. Alfie is a cantankerous, loveless, rich old man who incidentally happens to be an amazing horticulturalist. This story shows that friendships can bloom between the most unlikely of people.
